We all enjoy a little celebrity spotting now and then, and these luxurious all-inclusive resorts are some of the best places to catch a glimpse of a star or two.

Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic

Celebrities just can’t stay away from Casa de Campo Resort and Villas in the Dominican Republic. True, most of the A-listers will be tucked away in their exclusive villas, but that doesn’t mean you won’t see them strolling around the 5,000-seat replica Grecian-style amphitheater (yes, the resort has one of those) or eating at one of the resort’s gourmet restaurants. In the last few years, the following stars have been spotted hanging out at Casa de Campo: Jay-Z and wife Beyoncé; Prison Break star Amaury Nolasco; Vin Diesel; Shaquille O’Neal; Andrea Bocelli; Spanish soccer star Juan Mata; Mira Sorvino; the Jonas Brothers; Michelle Rodriguez; and Carlos Santana. Now that’s quite a list.

Jamaica Inn

Located on a stunning private beach in Ocho Rios, the Jamaica Inn resort has a fine history of celebrity guests. Winston Churchill, Ian Fleming, Noel Coward, Errol Flynn and Katherine Hepburn have all visited over the years, while Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller chose Jamaica Inn for their honeymoon. More recently, stars such as Kate Moss and Rupert Everett have come to experience the resort’s sophisticated blend of relaxed glamour and timeless elegance. And with Jamaica Inn’s all-inclusive plan, you can too.

Atlantis, Bahamas

Located on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, the sprawling Atlantis resort is basically a series of hotels and resorts on the same island. All-inclusive options are limited to the Royal Towers and the Beach Tower, while A-list celebs typically stay at The Cove Atlantis, a highly fashionable and exclusive resort within the resort. That doesn’t mean, however, that your celebrity-spotting activities will be completely scuppered, and you may well see a celeb or two exploring the island. Recent guests at The Cove include TV host and actress Vanessa Lachey; actress Gabrielle Union and her husband, basketball player Dwayne Wade; and singer and actress Jennifer Hudson.

Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort, Cancun

Palace Resorts

Moon Palace is a vast all-inclusive resort in Cancun with just about everything you’ll ever need for a satisfying holiday: spas, golf, restaurants, surfing, beaches, nightclubs… the list goes on. Celebrity spotting is also a viable activity at Moon Palace. In the last few years, guests have included Neil Patrick Harris, The Voice contestant Josiah Hawley, and Josh Levi from The X Factor. And if you fail to spot a celebrity (in the voyeuristic/paparazzi sense), then you can always pay to see — and hear — someone famous. Major music events take place regularly at Moon Palace; recent performers have included Shakira, Usher, Enrique Iglesias, The Beach Boys, Michael Bolton, Chicago, Ricky Martin, and Duran Duran (concert tickets are not included).

Spice Island is a luxurious all-inclusive boutique resort on Grenada’s famous Grand Anse Beach. And what better seal of approval than a royal visit? Yep, Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, Princess Anne (that’s one person, not three) stayed at the resort for the second time in September 2015. A fellow Brit, TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher, also stayed at Spice Island, as well as Sherri Shepherd, former co-host of The View. According to the resort’s website, Sherri was “the latest in a long list of television personalities spotted at Spice Island Beach Resort.”

Jumby Bay is the kind of exclusive, fashionable resort that features in Elle and the luxury travel pages of The Telegraph. Located on a 300-acre private Caribbean island a couple of miles from Antigua and accessible only by boat, it’s no surprise that the secluded Jumby Bay attracts its fair share of A-listers. In recent years, celebrity guests have included Paul McCartney, Hilary Swank, Mariah Carey, Eli Manning, Eddie Murphy and Jim Carrey. It’s exclusive, for sure, but also all-inclusive, with packages tailored for your “ultimate ease and enjoyment.”

The Caves, Jamaica

With its 12 custom-designed cottages built on the cliffs of fashionable Negril, The Caves manages to strike a perfect balance between luxury, trendiness and quaint artsy appeal. With its undeniably cool bars and restaurants — the Blackwell Rum Bar is built into the honeycomb network of caves beneath the resort and overlooking the sea — it’s easy to see why stars like Harrison Ford, Scarlett Johansson, Bono and Naomi Campbell are fans of The Caves. The resort’s sexy charm also attracted Sports Illustrated, who shot its 2007 Swimsuit Issue at The Caves. It may not be a typical all-inclusive resort, but with all meals and beverages included, a complimentary sauna experience, and candle-lit caves to call your own, this is one place to go celebrity spotting in style.
