Bigger Planes and More People to Mexico and Caribbean

A larger aircraft and more flights have been added on the Vancouver-Cancun and Vancouver-Puerto Vallarta routes by Air Canada Vacations.

Extra capacity has also been added to service between Vancouver-Ixtapa and Vancouver-Los Cabos. All of these routes are operated by Air Canada Rouge.

ACV’s 2016-2017 flight schedule to Mexico and the Caribbean also includes service between Winnipeg-Montego Bay and Cancun plus passengers can travel from Calgary to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta onboard Air Canada mainline.

Connectors from 64 cities across Canada are also available.

“Air Canada Vacations’ ability to add extra frequencies and capacity from Western Canada has allowed us to strengthen our package offering and seamlessly connect more of our clients to popular destinations down south,” said Nino Montagnese, Managing Director.

“This is just the start of our growth in Western Canada. We will continue to increase operations on popular routes, add new service and expand our product line to offer “unmatched options.”

Tourism officials welcome the news and applaud the decision to keep growing seats and flights to bring more guests to their resorts.
