BestAllInclusive.com (“BAI”) does not request, collect, or store any personal data with the following exceptions:

What information do we collect and what do we do with it?

Email Address:

BAI retains email addresses that are provided voluntarily by site visitors in order to

  • Sign up for our e-newsletter mailing list; and/or
  • Register as a User on our Community Forum.

In either case, your email address is used only to send you our e-newsletter, or notify you about Forum activity to which you’ve subscribed. We hate spam too (death to spammers!) so we will never give, sell, lease, or otherwise share your email address with anyone else, period (death to list sellers!). Most of the time we can barely find it ourselves when we want to send you something.

Other Identifying Information:

BAI does not collect or store any other identifying information other than your First Name (and to be honest, we don’t care if you make up a first name, like you did when you were a kid playing imaginary games with your invisible friend. You can even use something totally non-identifying like “DarthRaider99” or “LittleMissHotsyTotsy”. We really don’t care). We also do not ask for your address or phone number, or your pet’s name, or anything else.

Financial Information:

Good gosh no. We don’t sell anything, so why would we want your credit card data? It’s not like we could go shopping online with it or anything……

How do we get your consent?

You give your consent by voluntarily filling in the form to get on our mailing list or register to use our Forum. And really, when you think about it, how else could we get it? It’s not like we know who you are or where you live, so we’re not gonna come to your house and demand it. Or even ask nicely. Although if we did, you can be sure we’d bring cookies. That’s just the neighborly thing to do. Mama always said “never show up empty-handed!”.

How do you withdraw your consent?

You can opt-out at any time:

  • From our e-newsletter, by using the included ‘unsubscribe’ link that appears in every email we send;
  • From our Forum, by requesting to cancel your forum membership, which can be done at any time from within your profile;

Also, you can feel free to contact us at any time to make an opt-out request. Of course that would likely cast such a pall around our office, we might not recover. Sniff. Oh we’ll honor your request, but we’ll all be very sad to see you go. :-(

Disclosure

We will only disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so…..and it’s gotta be a valid court order, not just some Dick-Tracy-lookin’ flatfoot knockin’ on our door. Nosiree, we won’t fall for a banana in our tailpipe!

Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Or left behind on the bus when our hands were full of library books and snacks on our way to the beach for a day of reading and sun-burning. We just gotta get a bigger beach bag.

Third Party Services / Off-site Links

Links all over our website will send you off to other websites, which could be considered “3rd party services”, even if in a very broad sense. That said, the only information we provide them with is which link you clicked on. Once you’re at their website then it’s up to you if you want to give them any other information. Our lips are sealed, man.

Cookies:

Mmmmmmm……cookies! Ha Ha! Whoever came up with that name for those little bits of tracking data that websites leave behind?

What are they?
Cookies are small amounts of information that a website’s server transfers to your computer. This information can be used to recognize your device or to track your session on our website. Cookies may also be used to customize our website content for you as an individual. If you are using one of the common Internet web browsers, you can set up your browser to either let you know when you receive a cookie or to deny cookie access to your computer.

We use them to tell if you’re “logged in” (or not) so that you can post content (in our Forum). Or to tell us what pages you’ve viewed (hey we need to know how we’re doing, okay? Because no one ever tells us “Hey I love this page, man! Keep up the great work!” so we have to find other ways to give ourselves a high-five), or to know if we should serve up the mobile version of our website to your mobile device (waaaay easier than trying to read the ‘big’ website on a little screen).

Our cookies expire after a few days, which is why you may need to keep logging in. We know, we know, it’s SO annoying, right?!? But nobody likes stale cookies.

Web Analysis Tools

We may use web analysis tools that are built into the website to measure and collect anonymous session information. We do this so we can know which pages people really, really like and which ones totally suck wind.

Age of Consent

We know, it sounds like one of those stuffy British period movies, right?? And it actually was a popular Australian movie, but as it relates here what it means though is that by using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or older. In case we show a boob picture, or something like that. Not that we’re planning to, but sh*t happens sometimes.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. In fact, it would probably be a good idea to check it every morning, while you’re having coffee. Mmmmm…coffee and privacy policy reading…..what fun! Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you here that it has been updated (it just makes the most sense, since this is our Privacy Policy Page), so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If you are a registered forum user we will post a notice in the forum and also send it by email to the email address you have registered with us.

Oh yeah, if our site is acquired or merged with another company (hey we can dream, can’t we?), your information may be transferred to the new owners.

QUESTIONS AND CONTACT INFORMATION

For more information or if you would like to: access, correct, amend or delete any personal information we have about you, register a complaint, or simply want to say “hey, how’s it shakin’, sugar-boo?“, contact us at any of the methods offered on our Contact Page, or by mail at :
