Here is a winter storm stress buster for some all inclusive resort travelers this winter.
Elite Island Resorts is introducing its new Worry-Free Winter Storm Protection program to benefit guests staying at any of its eight Authentic Caribbean All-Inclusive resorts from November 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017.
If guests are unable to travel because their flight is canceled due to a winter storm affecting their departure airport, the Worry-Free Winter Storm Protection enables them to reschedule their stay for a later date at the same hotel in the same room category.
There is a cost involved but is probably valuable to frustrated winter travelerls. There will be a re-booking fee of $200 per room, and guests may travel anytime within 12 months after the date of their originally scheduled check-in date.
And, if guests experience delayed travel due to a winter storm, they can extend their Elite Island resort stay by the number of nights they miss (up to 10 nights) for no additional cost, based on availability.
“Since winter weather can sometimes affect the best-laid travel plans, we wanted to give our guests the peace of mind in knowing that our Worry-Free Winter Storm Protection will enable them to either reschedule or extend their Elite Island resort stay as needed, depending on the circumstances,” said Steve Heydt, President of Elite Island Resorts.
“Our tropical Caribbean resorts provide the perfect antidote to winter, and we want our guests to have the opportunity to enjoy every minute of their stay with us, as they leave their winter worries behind.”
The Worry-Free Winter Storm Protection is available at the group’s four family-friendly oceanfront resorts: St. James’s Club Morgan Bay in St. Lucia, Long Bay Beach Club in Tortola, and St. James’s Club & Villas and The Verandah Resort & Spa in Antigua.
Elite Island Resorts’ four Adults-Only resorts are offering the program as well: The Club, Barbados Resort & Spa; Antigua’s Galley Bay Resort & Spa and the newly renovated Pineapple Beach Club Antigua; and for ultimate seclusion, Palm Island Resort & Spa in the Grenadines.
