‘Falcon’s Resort by Melia’ is a bit of an unusual name.
But since all resorts are jumping on the ‘Branded’ brandwagon (Nickelodeon, Margaritaville, Hard Rock, Panama Jack, etc) so there is no reason Melia should not play the game.
Melia’s first shot at this new Katmandu Park concept in the Caribbean will be converting their Paradisus Grand – and The Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real – in Punta Cana (that’s ‘Punta Caner’ for my peeps from Bean Town).
The Paradisus Grand’s 622 rooms will get be updated with new pools, bars, restaurants, a Water Park and Kid’s Camp by December.
Updating The Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real is scheduled for next year.
If this gets you all warm and fuzzy – you can see more pics – and make reservations at this link (its so new they don’t have it on their website yet):
Check PricesAvailability & PricesNothing like a resort with lots for everyone to do.
Your kiddies might actually speak to you after this vacation……
** I suggest you check the airfares to Punta Caner. They can be ummm….. inordinate.

P.S. Melia and Falcon’s Beyond are bringing their toys to Playa del Carmen, Mexico in 2025 for us to play with.
P.P.S. I have been to these Paradisus resorts many times over the years. They are close to the airport, golf is right there and the grounds were always very well manicured. And the property is huge – in case you like to jog or walk. It needed some updating so I am glad to see them jumping in with Falcon’s to create something unique.
