Zac Brown Band will have their toes in the water in early 2017. The band has announced the return of their Castaway With Southern Ground event in Riviera Maya, Mexico, for next January, where they’ll perform two shows at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel.
The band’s gathering will take place Jan. 30 – Feb. 3, and joining Zac Brown Band will be Rodrigo y Gabriela, Toots & the Maytals, JJ Grey & Mofro, Nahko and Medicine for the People, Margo Price, Drake White and the Big Fire and Muddy Magnolias.
Castaway With Southern Ground features four nights of music and luxury at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. Music fans will enjoy artist interactions, pools, lagoons, restaurants and bars.
Zac Brown Band have plenty to celebrate this year. The band have a new exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Homegrown: Zac Brown Band opened July 22, and is set to run for an entire year at the museum in Nashville. The exhibit includes stage wear, guitars, song manuscripts, photos and more from the band’s personal collection.
“It’s an incredible honor to have the history of our band captured by the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum,” Zac Brown says in a press release. “From day one, it has always been about connecting with our fans by writing songs that come from our hearts, performing at our best, and creating unique ways to engage with them beyond the stage.
