Do you fantasize about taking a vacation while at work, while watching your kids, or any other time?
That is 200 hours per year – or about 24-days (annually) of daydreaming about vacation elation.
So what stresses us out about the buying process?
- 79% worry about getting the best deal
- 62% find it stressful finding a flight
- 7 in 10 called a lifeline – friend or family, that is, for recommendations … and 1/3 do this every single time they’re in vacay mode
- 76% must browse websites for reviews and 34% rely on those reviews for planning
Ooops….I’m back. I was just dreaming about going to Zoetry!
Did you ever forget to book part of your vacation? This study revealed that 73% did. Huh? 71% messed up their dates and 50% don’t know when they want to travel.
It seems there were even more challenges disclosed from this group – nearly 1/2 had trouble deciding on the perfect place and 44% said saving money for travel was a challenge (okay, I can see that!). And, travel agents will understand this one – 65% said they look at travel sites knowing they don’t have the funds to go anywhere. But, the good news is that 7 in 10 responded that they’re always searching for their next best getaway.
So there you have it. Are you a dreamer or a doer?
