New Jamaica All Inclusives Open in 2018

Excellence Oyster Bay
Excellence Resorts

Just when you thought Jamaica couldn’t get any better, mon…..along come two new resorts that opened this year.

In a Nutshell: Two new all-inclusive resorts, Excellence Oyster Bay (adults only) and Azul Beach Resort Sensatori (for families), both amazeballs when it comes to quality of like, everything.

Nowhere does chillaxing like Jamaica does, and now there are two new upscale all inclusive resorts to consider.

Want a short ride from the airport? The new Excellence Oyster Bay is close to Montego Bay…..it’s for adults only (no kiddos, which for some folks is a huge plus), and has 9 restaurants and 9 bars & lounges (I’m gaining weight just thinking about all those options!), along with a world-class Spa, two miles of secluded white-sand beach, 3 swimming pools, 4 outdoor Jacuzzis, and a partridge in a pear tree. Okay maybe not the partridge. Or the pear tree. And if you really enjoy the finer things in life (ha! Like anyone doesn’t?) then consider splurging a little bit more for the Excellence Club, which gets you more luxury services, exclusive suite categories, a VIP beach area, private check-in and check-out, and access to the private Magna Club Restaurant.

If the amazing walk-forever beaches of Negril are calling your name, consider Azul Beach Resort Sensatori. They do have ‘adults only’ buildings and areas, but keep in mind it is a family resort. Few resort chains do ‘kid-friendly’ like Azul Resorts, they really go all out to make kids and teens feel welcomed and pampered, and parents won’t have to worry that their kids will be bored with their supervised activities and facilities. With 7 pools, 9 restaurants, 9 bars, and a fabulous Spa, there are plenty of opportunities to unwind and enjoy yourself for a few hours without hearing “mommy” every 10 seconds.

Pro Tip: No matter where you stay in Jamaica, definitely spend the money on “Club MoBay”….the expedited service you get at the airport on both arrival and departure, plus the benefit of the private club lounge while you’re waiting for your transportation to the hotel or to board your flight home, is well worth the price of the service. No standing in lines going through security or Customs and Immigration and those great Jamaican rum drinks…..unbeatable.
