Cozumel Ironman Is Looking Great at Eight

The Incredible Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow and Ironman will not be in Cozumel to swim, bike and run.

The heroes on November 27th will be identified at the finish line as Cozumel puts the finishing touches on their 8th year of the world-famous Ironman athletic competition.

Cozumel Ironman 2016 will be an endurance test of swimming, cycling and running, and forms part of the Ironman World Series.

The Ironman World Championship was started in Hawaii in 1978 and has grown in popularity year-on-year.

Some 2,500 competitors from over 60 different countries took part in the 2015 Cozumel event.

The 2.4 mile (3.8 km) swim begins at the island’s Chankanaab Park where athletes experience a picturesque swim with colorful fish and coral reefs during the two-loop course.

Following the first grueling challenge is a 112 mile (180 km) cycle race on the roads around Cozumel, before finishing with a 26 mile (42 km) run, encompassing the downtown center of Cozumel.

This is the real deal. Try not to get swept up in the emotion and try to take part unprepared at a risk to your own health.

It’s okay to take a dive in Cozumel.

In fact, they’re kinda famous for dives.
