Don’t touch that!
Don’t touch this!
Early on we were watching what we touched – wearing gloves and then no gloves. With so many things to ‘touch’ while traveling – it’s been a concern. So here’s one solution.
In a nutshell: Dreams Vista Cancun opened on July 2 with high tech and low touch in-room experiences powered by Enseo, one of the fastest-growing technology service providers in the U.S. with solutions in hospitality (and more).
- In-room entertainment
- Guest room checkout
- Bluetooth® music
Dreams Vista Cancun guests can do all of this via enseoCONNECT™, a new contactless mobile remote.
EnseoCONNECT is simple and secure and allows guests to use their smartphone to control the TV and other connected devices (from the room/suite) – it also allows for streaming such as Netflix® and YouTube®.
So, how does this work?
You point your phone’s camera at a QR code visible on the TV, and this provides instant access and control of the entire connected in-room experience during your stay. And – you don’t have to join the hotel’s Wi-Fi network. Easy, peasy!
We’ll likely see more innovative solutions for safety and health as we continue traveling in the new normal.
Dreams Vista Cancun Resort & Spa
Did you know that Dreams Vista Cancun Resort & Spa is brand new? This new family resort is located in the gated community of Puerta del Mar (you can see Isla Mujeres from this resort) and about 30-minutes from Cancun airport. In addition to the touchless room controls, there’s a Dreams Spa by Pevonia®, rooftop pool, two surf pools, daytime activities and nightlife. This contemporary resort offers ocean views from every room and suite and also has an outdoor theater, climbing wall, Explorers Club for Kids and a Core Zone for Teens. Golf is nearby, too.
