[Makeover] Jolly Beach Antigua opens again @ $199 per room

Jolly Beach Resort in Antigua
Jolly Beach Resort in stunning Antigua

The legendary Jolly Beach Resort in Antigua is reopening.

Jolly closed in March 2020 and then experienced some Gub’ment wrangling.

But the Government and the new owners have patched things up and they are now ready for you.

In A Nutshell: Jolly Beach Resort is opening after a Covid hiatus.  The government of Antigua and Barbuda had owned the legendary property – and after a bit of confusion over title to the property – ownership was established and it is ready for visitors.    200 of the 464 rooms have been remodeled but the stunning beach and swaying palms are still the same.

This resort sits on one of the best beaches anywhere.

Given that Antigua has 365 beaches, one for every day of the year, the 40 acres that Jolly Beach Resort sits on is the ‘best of the best’ beaches.

Opening rates are lower than anything we have seen in a while.  $199 per room…….not per person.  That is a steal.

FYI…..Jolly is the largest hotel in Antigua and has always been one of the old-school style resorts that make you want to move in.

It comes complete with 3 pools, 3 bars, 2 swimming pools, a spa, tennis courts, a game room, fitness center and a super friendly staff of locals.

At $199 per room (the Superior room sleeps 4) it is easily one of the most affordable all-inclusive vacations you will find.

At least that is how it looks from the BackSeat.

Me a go ah work.
