Pineapple Beach Club Antigua (formerly Sandals’ Grand Pineapple Beach Resort Antigua) joins Elite Island Resorts and is Elite’s fourth all-inclusive (Antigua) beachfront resort. This resort used to be part of the Elite Island Resorts Group when Robert Barrett, Elite’s Chairman, originally owned and developed the resort (1986-1998).
The adults-only resort is adjacent to The Verandah Resort & Spa, another Elite resort, and is located on 30 acres with a quarter-mile of white sand beach, two freshwater swimming pools, three restaurants, and three bars, and 180 rooms. The resort will continue as an all-inclusive with meals, snacks, beverages, resort activities, kayaking, tennis courts, non-motorized sports, fitness center, nightly entertainment, and a full-service spa.
It’s also important to note that Pineapple Beach Club Antigua is an adults-only resort and will no longer accept new bookings with children under 16.
