The West Indies are calling! And, Elite Island Resorts answers the call in Antigua with their upcoming opening.
Catch a wave and grab a smooch along one of 365 sugar-white sand beaches that Antigua is known for and then retreat to one of 42 individual ocean view villas. It’s a small resort so it’s uber-luxurious, private, and intimate. The views from your infinity plunge pool are spectacular! You also get access to a personal butler that will cater to your every need.
Gourmet dining, of course, by a Michelin-trained Italian chef and one of the wow factors is that in addition to a wine sommelier there’s also a rum sommelier. The curated Caribbean rums will certainly be better than a rum runner!
While you’re enjoying all this luxury and Caribbean charm, you may kiss some money goodbye, but all is well because you’ll find rocker Gene Simmons’ all-natural MoneyBag Sodas served at Hammock Cove. Two restaurants with one in the Great House plus three bars round out their culinary offerings.
Hammock Cove Antigua is a great place for romance, reconnection, and relaxation and yet there’s so much to do in Antigua, too. Some on-property activities include yoga, snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, and sailboats. Off-property activities (at a cost) include diving, off-roading, a zipline adventure, and more.
Upon returning from your day of exploring you can take a cold plunge or get a massage at the Tranquility Spa. And don’t forget to strike your best pose by the cascading infinity pools – you just might spot a celebrity.
There’s no speakeasy here, but there’s a tunnel under the Great House called the Tunnel Gallery where work from Caribbean artists will be featured on a revolving basis.
When was the last time you took a romantic vacation? Let us know in the comments (if you want to, we know it’s a personal question).
