Valentin Resort – an Adults Only Oasis

Valentin Resort in Riviera Maya
Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya

You know a resort is great when people go back year after year.

And there is a reason for it.

In a business where service, location and beaches are everything – it is a daunting task to maintain excellence in every facet of their operations.

How do they do it?  This adults-only oasis takes incredible care of their staff.

In A Nutshell: Why the Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya?  Because the Cordola family – started by Francisca Bonet and Miguel Cordola – focus on carefully hiring only the best staff – and keeping them happy.   The family vibe permeates this 5-Star resort.  By going above and beyond to provide their team with comfortable working conditions, lots of training and good food – their staff become part of the Cordola family.

And their staff take good care of you.  (The ratio of staff to visitors is 1 to 1)

Also, they are about 25 minutes from the airport.   So no long – bumpy – traffic-congested rides to paradise.

It doesn’t hurt to be on Playa del Secreto (The Secret Beach) with its soft sand and lots of peace and quiet.

They have also spared no expense on their rooms.

The resort resembles a traditional Mexican hacienda and the rooms’ colors and layout were designed to make your life relaxing and comfortable.

Your dining options are varied (Italian, French, a Steak House, Japanese, Mexican and Seafood reaturants) and everything, including the ice cream, is made from organic sourcing.

When the restaurants close at 10:30pm you have a Sports Bar open and room service available.

After all that fine dining you can go on long walks on the beach, battle the weights at the gym, participate in pilates and yoga – or just enjoy lots of pampering at the Spa.

Divers will love that Barrakuda Scuba is located onsite, taking divers to some of the best dive locations around Cozumel (a short boat-ride away). The Dive Shop’s location also makes it simple to get certified if you’re not already, or to complete your open-water dive.

The bottom line is that you will be treated like family and there are few resorts as tranquil and relaxing as the Valentin.

I’ll keep the sand warm for ya…..
