A bit of normalcy came upon me as I learned about this new offering at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. They come up with some of the coolest ideas and this is the first one in quite some time.
The Tour
Perhaps some of you will agree that Instagram is like a game and it doesn’t really come with a rule book so you want your photos to capture the attention of other ‘grammers and these locations are beautiful and colorful – two things that help your Insta tiles.
There are two tour options –
You can embark on the 3-hour experience via a complimentary map for a self-guided tour or book VIP transportation. In addition, you can also bring along a professional photographer and lighting assistant for a private photo session at each of these five locations.
The five designated ‘Insta’ worthy spots range from the top of Cerro del Mono with stunning panoramic views of Banderas Bay to colorful and appealing Calle Delfines in Sayulita, the main drag in the village.
It will cost a little moola though if you opt for the Vallarta-Nayarit Insta Spot Tour with the photo sessions and VIP transportation. You’re looking at $1191 USD for up to 5 people. It’s doable if you have some pals that want to up their Insta-game too. This is, of course, in addition to your stay at Grand Velas.
The Resort
AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is on a long stretch of beach with lovely bougainvilleas and peacocks (also Instagram photo-worthy) and a stunning backdrop of the Sierra Madre mountains. Riviera Nayarit also received the global safety stamp of approval from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). This is a mid-sized resort with 267 rooms including 12 Wellness Suites and is also home to the annual Wellnessing Getaway. The Water Journey at SE Spa is a must.
