The Dominican Republic Makes a Comeback!

Dominican Republic Increase in Tourism
Go Dominican Republic

Yes! The Dominican Republic is making a comeback and their visitor numbers have soared to a new high!

In a nutshell:  Punta Cana is in the #1 position on the Top 10 list according to a recent survey from Allianz Global Assistance.  Cancun has dropped a notch for the first time since this survey began.

As you know, spring is one of the biggest travel periods of the year. So –  over 2 million flight itineraries were analyzed by Allianz Global Assistance to reveal this data.  Even more revealing is that the Dominican Republic numbers are 4x what they were last year.  Wow!  That’s an incredible jump.

This comeback comes at a good time for an island that had a steady rise in tourism.

It’s also no surprise that some great pricing and additional flights have been a factor.

So are you wondering about the rest of the Top 10 list?  Here you go -the full list of Top 10 International Destinations:
Punta Cana, Cancun, London, Paris, San Juan, Cabo, Nassau, Puerto Vallarta, Montego Bay, and Mexico City.
