Sonesta Resorts on St. Maarten is celebrating their post-Irma re-opening with some scorching deals – woot!

In a Nutshell: Sonesta’s two all-inclusive resorts on St. Maarten (the adults-only Sonesta Ocean Point Resort and the family-friendly Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa), both of which were damaged during Hurricane Irma, are offering reopening discounts of up to 45% provided you book by September 20, 2018.

The adults-only Sonesta Ocean Point Resort is scheduled to reopen on Nov. 15, 2018 and the family-friendly Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa is scheduled to reopen on Feb. 1, 2019.

Both resorts have undergone massive renovation efforts and damaged areas were rebuilt stronger than ever, to be able to withstand future hurricanes that might top Irma in destructive power.

In addition, the casino and Maho Village (the shopping and nightlife promenade outside the resorts) are scheduled to reopen this summer. The casino will have two new al fresco restaurants and a new outdoor bar and lounge.

BUT you wanna know the coolest part of all this?

The Maho Group, owners and operators of the Sonesta resorts, has made it possible for workers to maintain a livelihood and improve their skills and knowledge in hospitality while resorts are closed and being renovated. The program enables employees to receive an attendance allowance while taking courses. They keep their jobs, seniority and benefits, and all will be reinstated in their positions when the resorts reopen.

How’s that for a terrific company to work for? Maho Group, you rock!
