Moon Palace Punta Cana Expands — Palace Resorts

Show me the Money! Palace Resorts sure made a HUGE commitment to tourism in the DR. The brand new ‘mega’ Moon Palace Punta Cana will be a city when it’s completed in 2022.

In a nutshell: This new resort, located in the Macao area of Punta Cana, was initially at 2,100 rooms. Then Palace Resorts went all in and announced that they’ll add an additional 1,250 rooms……for a grand total of 3,350 rooms. No one can doubt Palace Resort’s commitment to tourism as the Dominican Republic rebounds from the recent media bashing about safety issues.

The Moon Palace Punta Cana complex will feature twenty restaurants, nine bars, seven pools, a water park, a wellness spa, a casino, convention center and a Greg Norman Eco Signature Design golf course.

This mega-sized resort will also have its’ own food distribution center and since it will take a village to support this resort. In a unique twist, they will also add housing for the resort staff.

Save the date….2022 will be here before we know it!
