The healing benefits of incorporating spa services into your life are more relevant today than ever before. And even better is experiencing spa services at a relaxing all-inclusive resort.
The spa scene in Mexico and the Caribbean has been evolving over the years and they’re known for holistic therapies, Thalassotherapy, Hydrotherapy, Mayan and Island-inspired treatments. Enhancing treatments with natural essential oils can help with stress relief, better sleep, mood and overall well-being. Calming colors. Calming scents. Calming touch.
Tranquility is possible….let’s explore!
Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita, Riviera Maya, Mexico
Zoetry, as you may know, has several locations in Mexico and the Caribbean and for this article, we selected the Riviera Maya location. This resort offers a relaxing ‘zen’ vibe with 100 oceanfront suites, large private terraces, and beautiful ethnic decor.
There are several dining venues and to enhance a spa experience they also offer organic and heart-healthy options using locally grown ingredients. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also possible. For Beachside dining, go with El Chiringuito Grill.
At the Spa: Consider experiencing the Thalassotherapy treatments, which utilize mineral and nutrient rich seawater, marine mud and seaweed. These are said to remove toxins and enhance well-being. The Thalassotherapy seawater pool with hydrojets is great for relaxation.
Resort note: Zoetry is not an adults-only resort.
Le Blanc Resort: Cancun and Los Cabos, Mexico
Paradise can be found in both the Cancun and Los Cabos resorts as BlancSpa at adults-only LeBlanc Resort is a Spa for all of your senses….and the antidote for stress.
White walls and light spaces at the Resort and Spa give a cool vibe while candlelit areas create warmth for a yin and yang feel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious and you could also choose the Blanc Wellness Suite with relaxing amenities including in-room aromatherapy, yoga, and meditation kits. Relaxing days lead to delicious evenings with a number of dining options including Blanc Italia featuring Italian-Mediterranean Cuisine, of course.
Begin your spa journey with the hydrotherapy circuit, a must at most resorts in Mexico, and one that relaxes and stimulates your body. Get into a state of bliss with one of the many spa services including the Samunprai Herbal Massage or the Aroma Essence Massage.
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Pueblo Bonito Pacifica raised the bar for all-inclusive resorts for a number of reasons including their Armonia Spa, which translates to Harmony and is one of the top 5 Best Spas in the World.
There is so much to share about this resort including the opening of The Towers at Pacifica. These two new towers offer 47 rooms and suites with private terraces and some have plunge pools. The third tower, reached by a Sky Bridge, has an oceanfront VIP Lounge.
With so many options for dining, it may be challenging to decide where to go so my first stop would be at the newly opened Peninsula Restaurant. An elegant option for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner serving local organic ingredients. Tip: Try their refreshing Santo Domingo Tiradito.
Calling all Foodies – Spend time in the new Market at Quivana for items to go or dine there. The best part is that this is also included in your all-inclusive Pueblo Bonito stay.
Back to the Spa! Armonia Spa offers a number of unique, organic and relaxing treatments. You can also customize your own spa treatment for your needs, however, with so many options there’s sure to be one that will ‘call out’ to you.
Invigorating Organic Ritual (75-minutes)
It uses all of my favorite scents including geranium essential oils, neroli and rosemary body lotion, which helps with muscle fatigue.
Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Hotel, St. Lucia
The casual elegance of the plantation-style rooms, cottages, and villas at Sugar Beach, with St. Lucia’s stunning views in the background, will transport you to a state of bliss.
This eco-friendly resort is located on the west coast of lush St. Lucia and has three restaurants, three bars and offers an array of activities including yoga, kayaking, and water biking.
The Rainforest Spa has seven thatched-roof treatment rooms and is one of the most unique spas in the Caribbean offering all-natural treatments using local ingredients and the soothing waterfalls enhance the experience. Signature services utilize cocoa butter to hydrate, coconut to exfoliate, bananas to firm and tighten your skin and there’s also an authentic Temescal, steam dome.
Not sure which service to experience? Start with the Vanilla Latte, a combination of exfoliation and a holistic massage using coffee, kukui nut, and vanilla.
Which one of these All-Inclusive Spas will you experience to relax and rejuvenate? Let us know in the comments!
