It’s tough when you’re known for ‘excellence’…. you just can’t rest on your laurels, the competition is always nipping at your heels…so to stay ahead of the pack Grupo Excellence is taking steps to remain excellent!
Most of these improvements are changes in dining establishments and cuisine, along with minor updates to some room types, and are being completed even as I write this….some will take longer but all are expected to be completed well before the end of the year.
Here’s the deets directly from Grupo Excellence:
The boutique adults-only Beloved Playa Mujeres will be adding “Le Bisou”, a contemporary French fine-dining venue, and the existing restaurants will be reimagined and converted to an upscale steakhouse, an Italian Trattoria, and a Lobster & Fresh Seafood House for seaside dining. They’re also adding a gourmet coffee house, a sports bar, and an assortment of food trucks offering snacks and bites.
Updates to Excellence Playa Mujeres include a new location for guest-favorite, Aroma coffee house, as well as an artisanal mezcal and tequila lounge which will be co-located at La Havana Cigar Lounge. The property will also revamp the entire experience for Excellence Club guests with a new Club lounge featuring an exclusive top-shelf bar, and new flagship restaurant Magna, serving both a-la-carte breakfast and dinner.
Excellence Riviera Cancun will get upgrades to its beachside restaurant Las Olas, while Finest Playa Mujeres, the group’s only family-friendly resort, will be home to a new Sea Side restaurant. The new a-la-carte venue will be exclusive to Finest Club and Excellence Club guests.
Additionally, Excellence Group plans to upgrade the Jr. Swim-Up & Private Pool Suites category with new modern wood decks throughout Finest Playa Mujeres, Excellence Riviera Cancun, and Excellence Playa Mujeres.
