Have you been hearing about Playa Mujeres or its sister beach Costa Mujeres?

With Isla Mujeres blocking any seaweed and creating the softest white sand, the Playa Mujeres area is the hottest spot in all of the Cancun right now.

Excellence Resorts was one of the first companies to build resorts in Playa Mujeres.

With the new addition of the new adult-only Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres they have added a 4th resort in their double-gated community.

In A Nutshell:  Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres will be coming in early 2025.  We don’t have a lot of information because Excellence just announced the new resort – and they have not provided any pics.  But I do know the area very well and have stayed at the Beloved, Excellence Playa Mujeres, and The Finest – which are right next door.   It is one of the nicest beaches I have ever had the pleasure of leisurely walking on for miles.  And Excellence’s service is legendary.

What we know:

  • The new adult-only resort is located in the Marina area, just to the West of their Beloved Resort
  • There are 11 dining options – and 12 bars
  • The rooms will be typical Excellence.  Large and comfy with oversized Jacuzzis, in-room alcohol and private pools
  • Golf is nearby at the Greg Norman Signature Course – one of the best courses in all of Cancun
  • They will include Excellence Club upgrades with private check-in and quiet areas
  • Walk out our of your room and onto the soft sand.  Then walk down the beach for miles.
