Airplanes are flying almost empty (or not at all)
Hotels were closed (but now re-opening)
Like y’all, I was hunkered down in my Casa with my butt vapor-locked to the couch binging on Flix and Tweets.
So the scorching deals kinda snuck up on me.
But we knew it was coming.
Have you checked out the airline stock prices recently……
We are watching smart travelers put down small deposits on a week’s vacation during next winter’s Holiday season at a fraction of what they paid in 2019.
We were checking cheap flights to Cancun yesterday, from Charlotte. It was $253. In January it was $700.
I was told by an unreliable source who has been day drinking since March that a family with 2 sons booked a week’s stay at a well known luxury All-Inclusive resort (aka HardRock) for $1900 – including airfare. That was a $6k trip in 2019.
I am not advocating you head out in the morning.
But the early dogs are gettin’ the bones……..
