If Karisma Resorts wants to storm the beaches, they couldn’t have picked a nicer beach to storm than Rodadero Beach in Santa Marta, Colombia.

In a Nutshell: Award-Winning hotel management group Karisma Hotels & Resorts will partner with Irotama Resort on stunning Rodadero Beach in Santa Marta, Colombia, as well as the soon-to-open Irotama Reservado (private apartments and condos).

OK so it’s not exactly a hostile takeover. In fact, folks actually seem pretty happy about it…

Karisma Hotels & Resorts — well-known in the travel industry for operating award-winning high-end luxury resorts (many of which are all-inclusives, such as the El Dorado Resorts, the Azul Beach Resorts, Generations Resorts, Nickelodeon Resorts, and the au naturel Hidden Beach Resort) — is bringing their magic touch to the beaches of South America following their success with the Allure Resorts (known as chic, boutique urban hotels).

“We are proud to continue growing Karisma Hotels & Resorts and to strengthen our presence in Colombia with this new project in picturesque and historic Santa Marta,” said Mr. Neil Evans, Chief Operating Officer of Karisma Hotels & Resorts.
