In a year that’s been nothing short of odd, hoteliers have re-imagined and renovated their resorts. This is likely one of the more exciting makeovers on our radar and could be that perfect place to reconnect with (honeymoon or marry) your partner since it sits on a lush and pristine nature preserve.
The more secluded South Coast property, which is about 90-minutes via a new picturesque road from Montego Bay Airport, will debut its Swim-up Rondoval Suites on December 10th. If you’re wondering what the hype is about – well, let me tell you.
What are Rondoval Suites at Sandals South Coast?
First, these circular Suites are positioned on a 17,000+ square foot zero-entry pool oasis (they had me at oasis!), which meanders through the suites – this is also the longest pool in the Western Hemisphere.
If you’re a fan of Sandals Resorts then you may already know that Check PricesSandals Grande Antigua, Check PricesSandals Grand St. Lucian, Check PricesSandals Grenada, and Check PricesSandals Royal Barbados have the Rondoval design, BUT this will be the world’s first-ever swim-up Rondoval Suites – it bears repeating – so that’s pretty big news.
Don’t forget about those Check PricesOver-the-Water Bungalows that I mentioned earlier as they’ll be available when the Resort reopens on October 1st. (This is where decision making gets a bit cloudy, but an over water bungalow is on my bucket list.)
If I were writing about the best all inclusive resort for your Zodiac sign – this is where I’d say this could be a good option for water signs – Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces (as a Scorpio, it’s a resounding yes!).
This property in and of itself is a haven due to its location, but these new Swim-up Rondoval Suites take that even further. Looking for even more water – these also have Private Plunge Pools, and a Tranquility Soaking Tub (for two).
In addition to the debut of these new Suites, the rooms at the Dutch Village have also been redone and have outdoor Tranquility Soaking Tubs for two, and some categories have swim-up access from a private pool.
The Italian Village wasn’t overlooked in this expansive re-do as it’s getting a modern wedding venue.
This Resort also has a fantastically romantic Over-the-Water Serenity Wedding Chapel, which seems like a great option for those postponed Spring and Summer weddings.
