[Tip #8] – Booking Local Tours – Can Be Frustrating

Booking Your Tours

Hot Tips on booking your Local Tours.

I hope that if you plan a day away from the unlimited cocktails – to Swim with the Dolphins – that your planning experience goes smoothly.

Take this advice…..it comes from years of traveling to Mexico and the Caribbean.

So what should you do?

Try to book any tours or excursions in advance of your trip.

If you cannot book in advance then this will help:

Ask your transfer driver what tours are most popular.

Most local tour companies have on-site representatives in the quality hotels – so ask at resort check-in how to book tours, and;

  • Where on the property can you find the local tour operators.
  • What are their hours.
  • If your room is ready, get unpacked – and then head over to book your tours.

If your room is not ready, head over to book your tours.

Why go immediately?

Usually, the teeming masses show up right after breakfast and mob the Tour Reps….and once the breakfast masses are all satiated, the Tour Reps disappear for a well-deserved break.

Hope this helps……….
