AMResorts is growing the Secrets brand in Mexico with another new resort scheduled to open in 2021.


Important Update:

We’ll have to wait a little longer for these new resorts to open according to a statement released from AMR Collection.

Both resorts will now open on the dates below:

• Secrets Moxché Playa del Carmen: February 11, 2022
• Secrets Impression Moxché Playa del Carmen: February 25, 2022

Both resorts will be protecting any bookings affected by this change at a similar resort in the destination in a comparable room category.

Guests scheduled to arrive between the dates below will receive a complimentary return stay to experience these resorts:
• Secrets Moxché Playa del Carmen: December 1, 2021 – February 10, 2022
• Secrets Impression Moxché Playa del Carmen: December 14, 2021 – February 24, 2022

In a nutshell: Secrets Moxché and Impression Playa del Carmen Resort & Spa will be located in the heart of Riviera Maya at a gated residential community with an 18-hole golf course, Gran Coyote, designed by PGA-Legend Nick Price.

This area checks all the boxes – stunning beaches, cenotes, golf, and shopping in Playa del Carmen.

Located about 45-minutes from Cancun airport, adults-only Secrets Playa del Carmen will be a fairly large contemporary resort with 671 suites, beautiful ocean views, and a setting where the jungle meets the ocean.

Impression Club Experience

Now let’s take a look at what will set this new Secrets Playa del Carmen apart from other Secrets resorts.

  • This will be the first Secrets to offer the ultra-inclusive Impression Club experience
  • This ‘Club’ offers a private and personalized residential-style experience as it includes spacious Two-, Three-, and Four-Bedroom Master Suites with Ocean Views
  • These spacious suites are on the top floors of the resort and guests will have access to exclusive amenities like a private rooftop pool, Signature Restaurant, butler service, a private bar, and a private beach area
  • Impression Club guests also have access to all Preferred Club areas
