Traveling to Turks and Caicos this winter?

In a nutshell: The Turks and Caicos Entry Requirements have changed as the Government implemented new COVID-19 related restrictions and protocols.

First, visitors will still need a TCI Assured Travel Authorization to board your flight.   This is a free authorization and you apply online.

The biggest change in the Turks and Caicos Entry Requirements is that effective immediately, all visitors age 2 and up will require a negative COVID-19 test for entry to the islands.

In addition, the following must be adhered to:

  • All visitors 16 years of age and over must be fully-vaccinated
  • Insurance which covers COVID-19 medical costs and full hospitalization, doctors’ visits, prescriptions, air ambulance and quarantine
  • Visitors are fully responsible for the cost of quarantine in the event they test positive during their stay
  • A completed online health screening questionnaire, which is part of the TCI Assured free online travel authorization

No further COVID-19 tests will be required once a visitor is granted entry and they will be free to travel through Providenciales and all of Turks and Caicos.

Keep in mind that masks are required in all public places until 28 February 2022 and this applies to everyone over the age of 2 years old.

Tests are available in the Turks and Caicos for visitors returning to the U.S. and many hotels and resorts offer free testing.

Be sure to check with your resort’s concierge.

All products are independently selected by our editors, generally after a day of heavy drinking and debauchery. However, when you buy something through our retail links, there's no additional cost to you but we do earn an affiliate commission which keeps the lights on here, and provides more incentive for us to drink and debauch. So buy some stuff :-)
